QuestNeonRealm is a 900m² neon-drenched gaming arena on Reservoir Street — 42 tournament-grade PCs, free-roam VR, a retro arcade and late-night LAN sessions running until 2am on weekends.
Our story
We opened in a former print warehouse off Crown Street in 2016 with eight PCs and a single Street Fighter cabinet. Nine years on, QuestNeonRealm is Surry Hills' home ground for grassroots esports — a place where high-schoolers, uni squads and after-work crews share the same glowing floor. Every rig is tuned in-house, every tournament is run by staff who actually play.
Eight BYO-peripheral PCs and a fridge of Mountain Dew — our first 30-person LAN sold out in a weekend.
Launched the Neon Cup, a CS:GO ladder that drew 24 teams from across greater Sydney.
Converted the mezzanine into a 120m² wireless VR space for up to eight simultaneous players.
Partnered with three local high schools to run after-school coaching in Valorant and Rocket League.
Full refit to RTX 4070 battle stations plus a curated arcade of 14 restored cabinets.

Good to know
Everything about booking, memberships and what to bring on the night.
Walk-ins are welcome whenever stations are free, but weekends fill fast. We recommend booking a station online for Friday and Saturday nights, especially after 6pm. Bootcamps and VR sessions must be pre-booked.
Under-15s are welcome until 8pm with a guardian present, or in our supervised after-school bootcamps. From 8pm onward the floor is 15+, and the retro wing is all-ages during opening hours.
Membership is A$99 per year and takes 15% off every session, gives you priority weekend bookings and early entry to tournaments. It pays for itself in roughly eight hours of PC time.
Absolutely — every station has USB and 3.5mm passthrough for your own mouse, keyboard, headset or controller. Lockers are available if you want to leave gear between visits.
Yes — our counter stocks energy drinks, coffee, toasties and snacks, and we take orders to your station. There are also a dozen cafes and late-night eats within two minutes' walk on Crown Street.
The ground floor, retro wing and accessible bathroom are all step-free via the Reservoir Street entrance. The VR mezzanine is reached by stairs, but staff can arrange a ground-floor VR slot on request.
